I chose this book because when my daughter was a toddler she loved for me to read this book to her. She would get so excited when I told her to get a book for me to read at bed time; she'd always pick it first. She listened to the birds' journey as it looked for it's mother and loved to repeat ,“Are you my mother?” She also got very excited when the bird found it’s mother at the end.
Oh my goodness... I LOVED this book when I was little. I had completely forgotten about it. Thanks for jogging my memory!
